Over the last couple of weeks, I have been working with Peter, the lead developer of mirrorbrain[1], to see if mirrorbrain would fit Sugar Labs' content delivery needs. Peter has packaged mirrorbrain for Ubuntu 9.04 and we are currently running a test instance at http://mirrorbrain-testing.sugarlabs.org/ We are ready to nearly ready to open http://mirrorbrain-testing.sugarlabs.org/ for wider testing as a step toward bring it into production. The next steps are: 1. Refresh mirrorbrain.sugarlabs.org to fresh U9.04install and do fresh mirrorbrain install. 2. Publicize mirrorbrain-testing.sl.o for broader testing. 3. Install mirrorbrain on sunjammer. 4. Point download-testing.sl.o at sunjammer. 5. Let it stabilize 6. Modify the existing download.sl.o virtual host to enable mirrorbrain for download.sl.o. 7. Kill mirrorbrain.sl.o vm and remove mb.sl.o and mb-testing.sl.o from DNS records. david 1. http://mirrorbrain.org/ _______________________________________________ mirrorbrain mailing list Archive: http://mirrorbrain.org/archive/mirrorbrain/ Note: To remove yourself from this mailing list, send a mail with the content unsubscribe to the address mirrorbrain-request_at_mirrorbrain.orgReceived on Thu Oct 08 2009 - 00:14:08 GMT
