I applied it (plus your further comment), and I also enabled RHEL6 in the openSUSE's
Open Build Service so the packages are automatically built there when the mirrorbrain
package is updated. Even if nobody downloads and uses those specific packages, it
serves as a verification that the package still builds on the platform.

The attached patch will allow the mirrorbrain srpm to be built and installed on
RHEL6.
unknown if it works as expected.

I had to disable debuginfo packages for building, because they are already enabled by
some macro in another place in the buildsystem, which lead to a conflict. (see
https://build.opensuse.org/package/repositories/Apache:MirrorBrain/mirrorbrain)
