Here's the crude hack to make it work on Ubuntu 12.04 - most likely needs some
package editing to work properly, but I'm no developer and at least this
installs then:

My notes tell me that
update-python-modules -f -v
does the trick as well (but can't test at the moment). Probably some
trigger/hook to run after the package has been installed.
