[mirrorbrain] RFC: Send 404s to certain fallback mirrors?

Hi,

I would like to discuss a little proposal that I just jotted here:
http://mirrorbrain.org/issues/issue26
It's about some ways to keep MirrorBrain running under adverse
circumstances (file system gone).

What do you think about it?

Good, bad, other ideas?
